Important Information for Customers Shipping Orders Outside the USA Orders that are to be shipped outside the US may be shipped from an affiliated distributor of the C.H.E.K Institute. These orders will be subject to the current taxes, shipping rates and product prices of our distributor, which may be different from the amounts shown in the C.H.E.K Institute website or catalog. Additionally, a few items carried by our distributors differ slightly in style from the picture on this website.
Our international distributors cover the following countries: Due to agreements with these distributors, the C.H.E.K Institute cannot ship items to customers in these countries if that item is also sold by the distributor. International distributors may be added or removed at any time. PLEASE NOTE: Special discounts or promotions offered by the C.H.E.K Institute may not be available through the international distributors. If our distributors do not carry a particular product, or if there is no international distributor covering your area, we will ship the product to you from the US. Orders that are shipped from the C.H.E.K Institute to a country other than the USA may be charged additional tax and duties by the customs agencies of the receiving country, based upon the value of the goods. These fees are not included in the shipping and handling fees charged by the C.H.E.K Institute and are the responsibility of the customer. Generally these are payable to the carrier in your country when the order is delivered to you or prior to delivery when the package is released from customs. By United States federal law, we must include the actual price of your order on your invoice. As customs duties vary from country to country, we cannot predict what the actual amount will be for your order. As a rough guideline, take the total of your order in US$, convert to your currency, then multiply by your local Goods and Services sales tax or VAT plus an additional 3-10% for duty. If you refuse to pay customs duties, your order will not be delivered. In this case, it will be returned to the C.H.E.K Institute. Once we receive the goods back, we will refund you for the goods, minus all shipping charges and any additional charges that were billed to the C.H.E.K Institute due to your refusal to accept the order. Since it may take up to three months for us to receive returned parcels from overseas, there may be a significant delay before you receive any refund for your order.
